While many octane booster fuel additives are available in Korea, few can increase octane by more than 10 points. This limitation is due to strict regulations from the Korea Petroleum Quality & Distribution Authority, which prohibit the use of harmful substances like MMT and restrict additives to less than 10ml per liter.

Typically, MTBE is used to improve octane, but it can only raise the level by 10 points per 500ml. To overcome this, POWERDRAG developed an accelerator that significantly amplifies octane and incorporated it into their product. Given that the octane difference between regular and premium fuel is usually 20 to 40 points, POWERDRAG created the only additive in Korea that can increase octane by 30 points with a single application.

As a result, this product is aptly named “Evolution,” the only evolved octane booster in Korea. Evolution is dedicated solely to improving octane and enhancing the lubricity of high-grade fuel.
