The additive delivers excellent carbon-removal performance on piston heads and valve surfaces where deposits have accumulated inside the engine. By enabling more complete combustion when mixed with fuel, it helps the engine extract higher energy efficiency. As efficiency increases, exhaust emissions are reduced, engine load decreases, and vibration and noise diminish—resulting in restored power or improved fuel economy.
In diesel vehicles, black smoke is noticeably reduced, along with the odor associated with diesel exhaust. This also helps extend the regeneration interval of the DPF.
PowerDrag fuel additives are engineered to be safe and effective for use at every refueling. While frequent use can help maintain optimal engine condition, it is not a strict requirement, so the dosing interval can be set freely according to your preference. For example, you may choose to use the product once a month, or simply add one bottle every third refueling—whichever routine suits your driving pattern.
PowerDrag offers a total of five fuel additives, broadly categorized into diesel and gasoline formulations. Each product can be selected based on your specific driving needs and performance goals.
The “Standard” Diesel Fuel Additive provides exceptional carbon removal, improved complete combustion, and strong DPF-cleaning performance. The “Maximum” Diesel Fuel Additive builds on these core benefits and adds moisture-removal capability, making it an all-in-one solution.
The “Standard” Gasoline Fuel Additive focuses on carbon removal and enhanced complete combustion, while the “Maximum” Gasoline Fuel Additive includes these core functions plus an additional octane-boosting effect. The “Evolution” Octane Booster is engineered to adjust and optimize the octane rating of gasoline—allowing regular fuel to perform like premium, or premium fuel to exceed 98 octane depending on your preferred mixing ratio.
PowerDrag fuel additives can also be selected based on your driving style. For steady-speed or city-driving conditions, the “Standard” series is typically ideal. For drivers who enjoy sporty, high-performance driving, the “Maximum” series will deliver even greater satisfaction.
They can be used in all types of vehicles, including brand-new cars. They are especially effective for vehicles with over 100,000 km of mileage or cars that have been in use for more than five years, where performance improvement tends to be more noticeable.
PowerDrag fuel additives are formulated to deliver optimal performance when used at the recommended dosage. As long as the product is not overfilled by more than twice the proper amount, frequent use will not cause any damage to the engine or the fuel system.
Fuel additives for gasoline and diesel are different and cannot be used interchangeably, so please make sure you are selecting the correct product before adding it. For proper mixing, always pour the additive into the fuel tank before refueling, and then fill up afterward. Do not mix PowerDrag additives with fuel additives from other brands, and avoid overdosing by more than twice the recommended amount, as this may cause driving issues.
Octane boosters are ideal for high-performance vehicles, racing cars, and tuned cars that require higher-octane fuel. Even if you are already using RON 98 premium gasoline, some drivers may still experience knocking or feel that the engine is not delivering its full power during sporty or aggressive driving. In such cases, this product allows you to set the desired octane level and enjoy a more exciting, responsive driving experience.
Most octane boosters on the market increase octane levels by only about 0.1 to 0.5, resulting in minimal real-world performance gains. In addition, many of these products rely on substances such as MMT or TEL—manganese- or lead-based compounds that are now banned worldwide due to environmental harm and carcinogenic risks.
Evolution, however, contains none of these prohibited materials. Instead, it is engineered with a proprietary formulation that delivers significantly higher octane-boosting performance compared to conventional products, providing a safer and far more effective solution for drivers seeking true octane enhancement.
Absolutely. Any internal combustion engine that runs on diesel fuel can safely use our fuel additives. As long as the product is used according to the manufacturer’s recommended dosing guidelines, it will not cause any issues, regardless of vehicle type or equipment size.
DEF is a catalyst composed of water and urea, and it is used in all diesel vehicles equipped with an SCR system. For DEF to be consumed properly, several conditions must be normal: exhaust gas flow speed, exhaust temperature, injector spray pattern, and DEF injection quantity. If any one of these factors becomes abnormal, urea crystals can begin to form.
Once formed, these crystals can clog the injector nozzle or obstruct the SCR catalyst. This can negatively affect the DPF’s operation and may even lead to a reduction in engine power output.
DEF additives are designed to be mixed directly with DEF (urea solution). For passenger cars, one 330 ml bottle should be mixed with 10–15 liters of DEF. For medium- and heavy-duty trucks, one 1 L bottle should be mixed with 20–50 liters of DEF, depending on the DEF tank size and usage conditions.
Because DEF additives are designed to remove urea crystals, they do not need to be used frequently. For passenger vehicles, using the product once or twice a year is sufficient. For commercial vehicles, it should be used once every 15,000–30,000 km, depending on driving conditions. If the DEF warning light turns on, the additive should be used repeatedly—at least 2 to 3 times—until the warning light disappears. If the warning light does not turn off even after 2–3 applications, the issue is likely not caused by urea crystal buildup, and the vehicle should be inspected at a service center.
When an SCR system fails, the only conventional solution is to replace the faulty component with a new one. The problem is that SCR parts are extremely expensive, and their failure rate is relatively high—creating a significant financial burden for many vehicle owners.
However, if the malfunction or performance drop is caused by urea crystal buildup, PowerDrag’s SCR-Cleaning DEF Additive can resolve the issue. The product is easy to use, requires no workshop visit, and does not involve disassembling any parts. You can simply add the product and let the system clean itself naturally while driving.
Even if a DEF warning light appears, you now have an affordable first-response solution that allows you to diagnose and address the problem on your own. This helps protect both your time and your money.
If the DEF additive is used in quantities that exceed the manufacturer’s recommended dosage, a DEF-quality warning light may appear due to an imbalance in the DEF mixture. Even when used at the proper dosage, vehicles with a heavy buildup of urea crystals inside the SCR system may temporarily produce a strong ammonia odor during the cleaning process, or the DEF may become degraded enough to trigger a quality-related warning light. However, such cases are extremely rare—occurring in only about 0.2% of users—and 99.8% experience no impact on vehicle operation.
When mixed at the correct ratio, the DEF additive maintains over 99% compliance with international DEF quality standards, meaning it does not cause SCR system malfunctions and has no negative effect on the DPF.
